NJCM Logistics LLC dba DECM Consultancy is looking to hire Five (5) Maintenance and Repair Workers General, a temporary, full-time position.
Primary and additional worksites in:
- Gualo Rai, Saipan, MP 96950
- Chalan Kanoa, Saipan, MP 96950
Job Duties: Must Perform General Maintenance Work to ensure that the structures of the establishment / building are in good conditions. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Perform routine preventive maintenance of Building, including but not limited to basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical works. Other Maintenance duties and assignments.
Minimum Requirements: Must be a High School graduate with 12 months experience of work related to building and maintenance, electrical and mechanical jobs.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Basic Wage Rate: $9.98 per hour
Overtime: Available, calculated at 1.5x basic hourly wage rate.
Frequency of Pay: Bi-Weekly
Payroll deductions: FICA and other applicable CNMI withholding taxes.
Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
Transportation and Subsistence: Transportation and subsistence will be provided, reimbursed, or advanced for workers who complete at least 50 percent of the contract period, covering travel from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract, or if a worker is dismissed earlier (except in cases of voluntary abandonment or subsequent employment with another employer), the employer will provide or pay for reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence to the worker’s home or original place of departure. The amount of transportation or reimbursement will be based on the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
